(INDIANAPOLIS, IN) - Tammy Sutton-Brown is the WNBA's eastern conference player of the week.
Sutton-Brown averaged 19 points and seven rebounds as the Indiana Fever went 3-and-1 during the week and locked up a playoff berth. She capped the week by scoring a career-high 26 points in Indiana's 103-89 win over Phoenix in the regular season finale.
It is the first time Sutton-Brown has won player of the week honors in her eight-year WNBA career.
The Fever open the playoffs Friday night when they face the Detroit Shock at Conseco Fieldhouse.
