(INDIANAPOLIS, IN) - The New Orleans Saints will return to the Big Easy this weekend and open their season against the Tampa Buccaneers Sunday at the Louisiana Superdome.
The Saints are practicing at Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis this week after evacuating New Orleans ahead of Hurricane Gustav. Gustav landed west of New Orleans, sparing the city that was devastated by Hurricane Katrina three years ago.
The team was contemplating flipping home dates with the Bucs, playing in Tampa Bay this Sunday with the rematch in New Orleans on November 30th.
