(INDIANAPOLIS) - IndyCar driver Vitor Meira has landed a spot at AJ Foyt Racing for the 2009 season.
Meira spent the past three seasons with Panther Racing, but was replaced by the recent signing of Dan Wheldon. Meira replaces Darren Manning at Foyt Racing.
The two-time Indy 500 runner-up will begin his stint with Foyt at next month's non-points race in Australia.
