Colts Regroup Before Vikings Matchup

Last updated on Wednesday, September 10, 2008

(INDIANAPOLIS, IN) - The Indianapolis Colts return to practice today as they begin preparing for Sunday afternoon’s game with the Minnesota Vikings at the Metrodome.

Both teams are recovering from opening-week losses as the Colts fell at home to the Chicago Bears on Sunday night while the Vikings were beaten at Green Bay on Monday night.

The Colts have taken 13 of the 21 previous meetings with the Vikings, including a 31-28 win at the RCA Dome in November of 2004, the last time the teams played each other.

Colts Injury Report

The Colts should know more about their injured players when they return to practice today. Team President Bill Polian said on his weekly radio show Monday night that he does not believe the knee injury suffered by tight end Dallas Clark in Sunday night's loss to the Bears to be serious.

Polian also revealed that rookie offensive lineman Mike Pollak underwent surgery to remove cartilage from his right knee and could return following the Colts' bye week.

Cornerback Kelvin Hayden and running back Joseph Addai are expected to practice today and Head Coach Tony Dungy said that Pro Bowl center Jeff Saturday could return soon from his knee injury.
