Colts To Iron Out Gameday Plan At New Stadium

Last updated on Tuesday, August 12, 2008

(TERRE HAUTE, IN) - The Colts open Lucas Oil Stadium on Sunday, August 24th when they host the Buffalo Bills in a preseason game.

Head Coach Tony Dungy says the team will try to get their game-day routine down next Tuesday when they hold a practice at the new stadium.

The Colts will go through a "dry run" of their normal game-day schedule, taking a bus from the team's west side headquarters to the hotel they use the night before a game. They will then try to address every issue they would face on a game day, from finding the locker room to knowing where the players park.

The Colts will have two preseason games at Lucas Oil Stadium before the September 7th regular-season opener with the Chicago Bears.
