Colts Linebackers Dropping Like Flies

Last updated on Thursday, August 7, 2008

(TERRE HAUTE, IN) - Every camp, the Colts seem to suffer an inordinate number of injuries at one position. This year, the linebackers are the ones who are dropping.

Tyjuan Hagler is expected to be out until October with a torn pectoral muscle and Gary Brackett and Clint Session missed last Sunday's game against Washington. Brandon Archer, who was signed late last week to add some depth, and Victor Worsley missed practice on Wednesday with injuries suffered against the Redskins.

The Colts signed Dedrick Harrington to add a little more depth at linebacker. Harrington is out of the University of Missouri and spent part of last season on the Colts' practice squad.

To make room for Harrington, the Colts waived kicker Adam Crossett.
