(INDIANAPOLIS, IN) - Testing for September’s inaugural Red Bull Indianapolis GP motorcycle race continued Wednesday at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway with the final day of testing for the Moto GP bikes.
Ducati's Niccolo Canepa turned in the fast lap for the second-straight day. Canepa's time of just over one minute and 43 seconds was the fastest of the two-day session.
Suzuki's Ben Spies, the only one of the six riders on the speedway road course yesterday who is expected to compete in the September 14th race, was second-quick for the second-straight day.
Testing concludes today with 23 riders from the developmental Red Bull AMAUS rookie cup series scheduled to turn laps on the 2.62-mile road course.
