(INDIANAPOLIS) - Indiana University has released details of Athletic Director Rick Greenspan's resignation agreement with the school.
Greenspan will receive more than $400,000 in severance payments and has agreed not to sue the university when steps down at the end of the year.
The agreement also contains a clause allowing Greenspan to "retain rights to any book he may wish to write and publish".
Greenspan announced his resignation effective at the end of the year on Thursday.
The announcement came the same day the NCAA committee on infractions leveled a charge of "failure to monitor" on IU in the midst of additional charges surrounding the men's basketball program.
