Tribe Pushes Past Med Hens

(TOLEDO, OH) - Brian Bixler broke up a scoreless game with a home run in the fifth and Josh Wilson drove in the go-ahead run with a sacrifice fly in the seventh as the Indianapolis Indians got past the Toledo Mud Hens 4-2.

Bixler put the Tribe on the board with his third homer of the season and Ronny Paulino made it 2-0 tribe with an RBI groundout in the sixth.

Toledo tied the game in the bottom of the sixth when they scored a pair of runs on third baseman Neil Walker's fielding error.

Wilson broke the tie with his sac fly and Steve Pearce added insurance with an RBI single in the eighth as Indianapolis sent the Mud Hens to their fourth-consecutive loss.

Game two of the four-game series is tonight in Toledo.
