(SOUTH BEND) - University of Notre Dame President Reverend John Jenkins will oversee the search process for a new athletic director.
According to the school, the search has already begun and Jenkins will seek advice before making the decision.
There is no timetable to replace Kevin White, who announced on Saturday he was leaving the post to become the athletics director at Duke University.
White was just the 11th athletic director in Notre Dame history and only the second who wasn't an alumnus of the school.
Missy Conboy is the interim athletic director until a hire is made.
