(INDIANAPOLIS) - Former Pacers center Sam Perkins has rejoined the franchise as Vice President of Player Relations.
The 17-year NBA veteran was a key reserve on the Pacers team that reached the finals in 2000.
His new role will involve mentoring the players in the hope of reducing the number of off-court incidents that have plagued the franchise in recent years.
