Fever Host New York Liberty

Last updated on Wednesday, June 18, 2008

(INDIANAPOLIS, IN) - The Indiana Fever are back in action tonight as they host the New York Liberty.

The Fever are 5-and-4 following a ten-point loss to San Antonio last Sunday at Conseco Fieldhouse.

The game with the Silver Stars marked the season-debut of all-star forward Tamika Catchings. Catchings played twelve minutes, scoring two points and grabbing a rebound in her first action since tearing her right achilles tendon in last year's Eastern Conference finals.

Despite the addition of Katie Douglas, the Fever have missed Catchings' offense. Indiana ranks next-to-last in the WNBAscoring at 70 points per contest.

Catchings is not the Fever's only injury concern as starting center Tammy Sutton-Brown missed Sunday's loss to San Antonio with achilles tendonitis. It is not known whether she will be available tonight.

The Liberty are also 5-and-4 and have won two straight. The Fever have won eleven straight against New York at the Fieldhouse.
