(INDIANAPOLIS, IN) - The Columbus Clippers earned a split of their two game series at Victory Field with a 6-5 win over the Indianapolis Indians.

Former Indian Yurendell De Caster hit a two-run homer and drove in three to pace the Columbus offense. The Indians jumped out to an early 3-0 lead on a two-run single from Kevin Thompson in the first and an RBI single from Matt Kata in the second.

De Caster's home run in the fourth tied the game and Ray Olmedo gave the Clippers the lead for good with an RBI triple in the fifth.

The Tribe have today off before welcoming the Rochester Red Wings to Victory Field for the start of a four-game series on Thursday.
