Boys Split, Girls Swept In All Star Series

(LOUISVILLE, KY) - The Kentucky Boys and Girls All-Star teams swept their Indiana counterparts on Sunday in Louisville.

The Kentucky boys halted an eight-game losing streak with a 95-78 win to gain a split with the Indiana All-Stars.

Tyler Brown led Kentucky with 19 points. Indianapolis Howe'S Larry Stone led Indiana with 24 points with Mister Basketball Tyler Zeller of Washington High School adding 16 points and ten rebounds.

Earlier in the evening, the Kentucky girls completed their first sweep of Indiana since 1991 with a 102-62 pounding of the Hoosier girls.

Monique Reid led Kentucky with 16 points while Miss Basketball Brittany Rayburn of Attica scored twelve points to lead Indiana.
