(INDIANAPOLIS) - John Van Benschoten and three relievers combined on a one-hitter as the Indianapolis Indians blanked the Louisville Bats 7-0.

Van Benschoten pitched six and two-thirds innings of hitless ball, walking three while striking out eight to improve to 4-and-0.

Louisville remained hitless until Chris Dickerson tripled with two out in the bottom of the ninth of Tribe closer Jonah Bayliss.

Indianapolis sent nine hitters to the plate in the bottom of the first with Josh Wilson capping a three-run inning with a two-run double. Kevin Thompson would add a two-run homer in the eighth as the Tribe snapped a three-game losing streak.
