The Pacers lost to the nets 124-117 last night in New Jersey. Josh Boone scored a career-high 26 points as the Nets moved two games ahead of the Pacers for ninth place in the Eastern Conference.

Indiana never led, trailing by as many as 16 points in the second quarter. They came back in the third to tie the game at 77, but New Jersey closed out the period on a 21-11 run to take a ten-point lead into the fourth quarter.

Mike Dunleavy led Indiana with 33 points with Danny Granger adding 19 before fouling out.

The Pacers' loss combined with Atlanta's win over Milwaukee dropped Indiana two and-a-half games behind the Hawks for the eighth and final playoff berth in the East with ten games remaining. New Jersey remains a half-game behind Atlanta in ninth place.
