New Jersey Nets Drop Pacers Wednesday Night

(EAST RUTHERFORD, NJ) - Josh Boone scored a career-high 26 points as the New Jersey Nets beat the Indiana Pacers 124-117.

Devin Harris finished with 22 points and 15 assists while Vince Carter also had 22 points to go along with 14 rebounds as the Nets move two games ahead of the Pacers for ninth place in the Eastern Conference.

Mike Dunleavy led Indiana with 33 points with Danny Granger adding 19 before fouling out.

The Atlanta Hawks won their game at home with Milwaukee to drop the Pacers two and-a-half games behind the Hawks for the eighth and final playoff berth in the East.

The Pacers face the Nets in a rematch Friday night at Conseco Fieldhouse.
