Tinsley Returns To Pacers Lineup Friday Night

Last updated on Friday, February 1, 2008

(INDIANAPOLIS, IN) - The Indiana Pacers will try to snap a four-game losing streak tonight when they welcome Yao Ming and the Houston Rockets to Conseco Fieldhouse.

The Pacers have lost 14 of their last 18 games to fall behind New Jersey in the race for the final Eastern Conference playoff berth. The Nets hold a half-game lead over Indiana for eighth place in the East with Chicago, Philadelphia, Charlotte and Milwaukee within two games of New Jersey.

The Rockets are in tenth place in the West at 25-and-20 - a mark that would be good for fifth place in the East. Houston has been hot of late, winning five of six and ten of their last 13 games.

Both teams expect to have key players return to the starting lineup tonight. Jamaal Tinsley was back at practice Thursday. Tinsley has missed the Pacers' last three games and nine of their last 16 contests with a sore left knee.

Tracy McGrady returned to practice Wednesday after missing the Rockets' Tuesday night win over Golden State with flulike symptoms.
