(CHAMPAIGN) - Freshman E'Twaun Moore scored a career-high 24 points and Marcus Green added 15 points to help Purdue win its seventh straight game, 83-75 at Illinois on Saturday.

Moore scored 20 of his points after halftime, hitting 10-12 from the floor for the Boilermakers who opened up a half-game lead in the conference standings with the win. Wisconsin was idle Saturday, while Michigan State was upset at Penn State.

Tarrance Crump added 11 points for Purdue, while senior Brian Randle had a career-high 21 to lead Illinois.

Next up for Purdue is Penn State. Fresh off Saturday's win over the Spartans, the Nittany Lions will be looking to claim another upset Tuesday as they invade Mackey Arena.
