(EVANSVILLE) - Within a few months, the Roberts Stadium Advisory Board is expected to return from hundreds of hours of discussion with a verdict to either renovate or build a new stadium.
City leaders will have to approve the recommendation and then decide how to pay for it.
Mayor Jonathan Weinzapfel has said building a new arena downtown could generate the most funding sources to offset the cost of construction. But he insists the city will move methodically through the process.
