Last updated on Monday, February 11, 2008

(COLUMBUS, OH) - The thirteenth-ranked Indiana Hoosiers won their third straight game and twentieth overall Sunday, beating Ohio State on the road, 59-53.

Forward D.J. White recorded his 15th double-double of the season with team bests of 21 points and 13 rebounds, while Eric Gordon scored 15 and fellow freshman Jordan Crawford contributed eight points, six rebounds, and seven assists.

The Hoosiers led for all but two minutes in the game and withheld a late Buckeye rally by making seven free throws in the final five-and-a-half minutes. The Hoosiers committed just seven turnovers and shot 43 percent, despite hitting only four of 18 three-point attempts.

The Indiana win ended the Buckeyes' streak of 19 straight Big Ten home wins.

Ohio State freshman Kosta Koufos led the Buckeyes with 18 points and nine rebounds. Indiana's record stands at 20-and-3 overall, 9-and-1 in the Big Ten, a half-game behind conference leader Purdue.

The Hoosiers play their next three at home against the top teams in the Big Ten standings, starting with the 19-4 Wisconsin Badgers at Assembly Hall on Wednesday.
