Pacers Dunked By Pistons

Last updated on Wednesday, January 30, 2008

(INDIANAPOLIS, IN) - Rasheed Wallace scored 24 points and grabbed ten rebounds to lead the Detroit Pistons past the Indiana Pacers 110-104.

Indiana led by as many as eleven points in the first quarter and held a ten-point advantage with three and-a-half minutes remaining in the second quarter.

Wallace led Detroit on a 14-2 run to give the Pistons the lead with one minute remaining in the half with Wallace scoring eleven points during that stretch.

The Pacers tied the game at 67 early in the third quarter on a Mike Dunleavy three-pointer, but Richard Hamilton responded with a basket that gave Detroit the lead for good. The Pistons would lead by no more than seven points with Indiana getting to within a basket several times but not being able to catch Detroit.

Tayshaun Prince added 17 points for Detroit as the Pistons have won three in a row.

Dunleavy led all scorers with 25 points with Troy Murphy and Travis Diener adding 18 apiece as all five Indiana starters were in double figures.

The Pacers have lost four in a row and fall to 19-and-27 on the season. They are off until Friday night when they host the Houston Rockets.
