Mister Football Backs Away From Ball State, Headed To Army

Last updated on Friday, January 4, 2008

(EVANSVILLE, IN) - Indiana’s Mister Football has backed out of an oral commitment to play at Ball State.

Evansville Reitz quarterback Paul McIntosh says he will play for Army.

McIntosh accounted for more than 3,800 yards of offense this past season, throwing 22 touchdown passes and scoring 34 more TDs on the ground. Reitz completed an undefeated season with the Class 4A state championship.

McIntosh says the academics at Army and a chance for playing time were the main factors in his decision.
