Michigan State Drops Boilermakers

(EAST LANSING, MI) - The sixth-ranked Michigan State Spartans survived a scare from Purdue, defeating the Boilermakers 78-75 in East Lansing.

Kalin Lucas led four Spartans in double figures with 16 points with Durrell Summers adding 15 as the Spartans improve to 14-and-1 overall, 2-and-0 in the Big Ten.

Chris Kramer scored 19 points to lead Purdue with Nemanja Calasan finishing with 18 points as the Boilers fall to 10-and-5, 1-and-1 in conference play.

Purdue is back at Mackey Arena on Saturday to face Ohio State. You can hear all of the action following Lady Stars basketball Saturday afternoon.
