Last updated on Sunday, January 27, 2008

(SOUTH BEACH, FLA.) - The Miami Heat saw their 15-game losing streak come to an end Saturday as they defeated the Indiana Pacers 98-96 in South Beach.

The Pacers held comfortable leads in the first half despite being without the services of Jermaine O'Neal and Jamaal Tinsley who are both battling injuries.

In the second half, the Heat slowly but surely took control of the game thus putting an end to their horrid losing streak behind a game-high 35 points from Dwayne Wade. Mark Blount also had a strong game, chipping in with 19 points for the Heat who won just their ninth game this season.

The Pacers were led by Mike Dunleavy who scored a team-high 25 points and Danny Granger who chipped in with 13 points on 5-of-15 shooting from the floor.

The loss drops Indiana to 19-26 for the season.
