Lady Stars Taken By Late South Panther Surge

(BEDFORD) - The first three quarters were close, but it was a fourth quarter surge by the Bloomington South Panthers that did in the BNL Lady Stars, who fell 56-44 Tuesday night.

Junior guard Tabi Terrell led BNL with 14 points and senior center Megan Burton claimed 9 points for the Lady Stars.

Kayle Hulls led the Panthers with an impressive 27 points and 5 three pointers during the matchup.

Bloomington South went on 9-0 run in the fourth quarter to seal the victory. And despite 18 turnovers throughout the matchup, the Panthers only committed one turnover in the crucial fourth quarter surge.

Earlier in the evening the BNL Lady Stars junior varsity team fell to the Panthers, 32-21.

BNL is now 14-5 on the season and the Lady Stars will clinch 2nd place in conference play with a win against Seymour this Thursday night. You can hear all of the action starting at 7:15pm on your station to the Stars, 1340 AM WBIW.
