Bulls Give The Horns To Pacers Squad

(CHICAGO, IL) - Kirk Hinrich scored a career-high 38 points to lead the shorthanded Chicago Bulls past the shorthanded Indiana Pacers 108-95.

Andres Nocioni added 24 points for the Bulls, who were without leading scorer Ben Gordon as well as starters Luol Deng and Chris Duhon.

Chicago used a 17-0 run early in the second quarter to break a 29-all tie and take a 46-29 lead with seven minutes remaining in the half. The Bulls would maintain a 14-point advantage at intermission.

The Pacers made some inroads in the third quarter, finishing the period with a six-point deficit and got to within two points at 79-77 with 10:44 remaining in the fourth quarter. Chicago responded with a 16-6 run and pulled away down the stretch.

Danny Granger led Indiana with a career-high 33 points with Kareem Rush adding 13 points and Jeff Foster finishing with twelve points and eleven rebounds.

The blue-and-gold were without forwards Jermaine O'Neal and Troy Murphy. The Pacers have lost nine of their last eleven on the road.

The four-game road trip continues tonight as the Pacers head to Milwaukee to face the Bucks.
