Pacers Welcome Raptors To Fieldhouse

Last updated on Friday, December 14, 2007

(INDIANAPOLIS, IN) - The Indiana Pacers host the Toronto Raptors tonight at Conseco Fieldhouse.

It is the third game in four days for the Pacers, who are coming off a loss in Cleveland on Tuesday and a win over the Bulls on Wednesday. The Chicago win evened Indiana's record at 11-and-11.

One key to the win over the Bulls was the play of reserve Kareem Rush. Rush was signed by the Indiana to add to the team's outside presence, but the fourth-year guard out of Missouri had been mired in a season-long shooting slump. Rush broke out with a 22-points effort on 9-for-13 shooting from the field.

The Raptors are 13-and-10 and winners of three in a row. The winning streak coincided with the return of all-star forward Chris Bosh from a groin injury.

The Raptors will be without guard TJ Ford, who is out with stiffness in his neck and back after getting hammered to the floor on a flagrant foul by Atlanta rookie Al Horford on Tuesday. Horford was suspended one game by the NBA on Thursday.

On the Pacers' injury front, centers David Harrison and Jeff Foster are listed as day-to-day. Both are suffering from back problems.

Harrison saw some playing time against the Bulls while Foster has missed the last two games after suffering back spasms before Tuesday's game with the Cavaliers.

The Raptors won the only other game between the two teams this season, beating the Pacers 110-101 at the Air Canada Centre on November 16th.
