Pacers Top Bulls At Fieldhouse

Last updated on Thursday, December 13, 2007

(INDIANAPOLIS, IN) - Kareem Rush scored 22 points as the Indiana Pacers beat the Chicago Bulls 117-102 at Conseco Fieldhouse.

Jermaine O'Neal, Jamaal Tinsley and Marquis Daniels finished with 18 points apiece as the Pacers got back to .500 at 11-and-11 on the season.

Ben Gordon led Chicago with 18 points, hitting just seven of his 21 shots from the field.

The Bulls led by 14 points in the second quarter when Indiana went on an 11-1 run to get back in the game.

The second quarter also saw a confrontation between the Pacers' Troy Murphy and Chicago's Tyrus Thomas which resulted in the ejection of both players.

The Pacers are back in action on Friday when they host the Toronto Raptors.

Before last night's game, the Pacers re-signed center Courtney Sims to a non-guaranteed contract. It is the third time the Pacers have signed the 6-11 rookie from the University of Michigan.

Sims participated in training camp and the preseason before being released before the start of regular season. He was re-signed in October after Ike Diogu went down with a calf injury and was released again on December 4th.

Sims has appeared in just two games this season, scoring zero points in four and-a-half minutes of play.

Injuries to Diogu, David Harrison and Jeff Foster are the reason for Sims' latest return.
