Last updated on Saturday, December 15, 2007

(BLOOMINGTON) - The Indiana Hoosiers return to action today to face Western Carolina.

This matchup is the third of a five-game home stand for the Hoosiers at Assembly Hall.

Since losing to Xavier at the Sears Centre in Illinois in November, the Hoosiers have won four straight and are currently 8-1 overall.

Freshman guard Eric Gordon, is expected to return for today's game after recovering from a bruised tailbone. Gordon missed last Saturday's 70-51 victory over Kentucky, but is averaging 24.3 points per game.

Armon Bassett, who missed the Kentucky game due to disciplinary reasons, is not expected to play today according to coach Kelvin Sampson.
