Colts Return To Practice Field

Last updated on Wednesday, December 12, 2007

(INDIANAPOLIS, IN) - The Indianapolis Colts return to practice this afternoon as they begin preparing for Sunday’s game in Oakland against the Raiders.

The Colts are 11-and-2 and with one win in their final three games, they will become the first team in NFL history with five consecutive 12-win seasons.

The Raiders are 4-and-9, but those four wins are double what they recorded last season when they earned the first pick in last April's NFL Draft. The Raiders took quarterback Jamarcus Russell with the number one pick.

First-year Oakland coach Lane Kiffin says Russell will probably see some playing time this Sunday, but he will not start. Veteran quarterbacks Daunte Culpepper and Josh McCown are battling injuries, but one of them will likely get the start.
