(INDIANAPOLIS, IN) - The Indiana Pacers opened the season with a 119-110 overtime victory over the Washington Wizards.

Mike Dunleavy led Indiana with 25 points and twelve rebounds as the pacers get a win in Jim O'Brien's debut as head coach.

Danny granger had 20 points and 13 boards while Jamaal Tinsley finished with 20 points, nine rebounds and eight assists.

Gilbert Arenas paced the Wizards with 34 points, including a three-pointer as time expired in regulation to force overtime. Antawn Jamison added 27 points and 16 rebounds for Washington.

The Pacers host the Miami Heat on Friday night.

Indiana played without two starters Wednesday night. All-star Jermaine O'Neal sat out with swelling in his left knee. O'Neal suffered the injury in practice when he banged knees with Shawne Williams and missed Indiana's final four preseason games.

Head Coach Jim O'Brien expects O'Neal to be available for Friday night's game with the heat. Troy Murphy was out with a strained achilles tendon. O'brien expects Murphy to miss at least the first three games of the regular season.
