(WASHINGTON, DC) - Gilbert Arenas scored 20 of his game-high 30 points in the first half as the Washington Wizards beat the Indiana Pacers 103-90.

Arenas also had eleven assists while Caron Butler added 25 points and Brendan Haywood finished with 16 points and eleven rebounds as the Wizards won their second game in a row after starting the season 0-and-5.

Washington snapped a ten-game home losing streak dating to last season.

Marquis Daniels was back in the lineup for Indiana and led the Pacers with 19 points. Daniels sat out two of the Pacers' last three games with a sore knee.

Jermaine O'Neal added 17 points with Jamaal Tinsley contributing 15 points as the blue-and-gold lost their fifth in a row to fall to 3-and-5.

Unlike many of the games during their current losing streak, Indiana struggled out of the gate. The Pacers hit just three of their first 14 shots and trailed 28-15 after the first quarter.

The Pacers' two-game road trip continues Friday when they face the Toronto Raptors.
