Paul Pierce scored 31 points and grabbed eleven rebounds to lead the Celtics, who improved to 6-and-0 and remain the lone remaining undefeated team in the NBA. Kevin Garnett had 18 points and eleven boards while Ray Allen finished with 17 points.

For the Pacers, it was their fourth consecutive loss after opening the season with three straight wins.

Tuesday's game was the first of a back-to-back for the Pacers. They are in Washington, D.C. tonight to face the Wizards.

Indiana beat the Wizards in the regular season opener 119-110 in overtime at Conseco Fieldhouse.
