(SOUTH BEND, IN) - One of two streaks will come to an end Saturday when The Fighting Irish of Notre Dame host the Navy Midshipmen.
Navy has not beaten the Irish since Roger Staubach was a senior - that was in 1963. Notre Dame's 43-game win streak over the middies is the longest in college football history.
Notre Dame Coach Charlie Weis is more concerned about another Irish streak - their four-game losing skid at Notre Dame Stadium.
Not only have the Irish never lost five in a row at home, they have never lost five home games in a season.
