Colts Regroup And Prepare For Sunday Matchup

Last updated on Friday, November 16, 2007

(INDIANAPOLIS, IN) - The Indianapolis Colts continue to get ready for Sunday’s game with the Kansas City Chiefs.

The Colts are 7-and-2 following back-to-back losses to New England and San Diego.

The Colts were back to practicing in pads Thursday after Head Coach Tony Dungy lightened Wednesday's workout due to the team's long list of injuries.

The Colts had just 44 healthy players for Sunday night's game against the Chargers. The list of injured players grew longer in San Diego as Pro Bowl defensive end Dwight Freeney was lost to a season-ending foot injury with offensive linemen Ryan Diem and Charley Johnson also leaving the game with injuries.

Among those who missed a second day of practice on Thursday were receiver Marvin Harrison and safety Bob Sanders.
