(MITCHELL) - The Mitchell Bluejackets footballers never got into the endzone during their Friday night matchup against the Providence Pioneers, falling 28-0.
In the first quarter, Mitchell kept it scoreless until Providence squeezed into the endzone with a short touchdown run at Terry Cole Field.
Providence then ran away with the game, scoring three more touchdowns before the final seconds ticked away on the scoreboard.
The Bluejackets wrap up their season with a 4-7 record. Providence (8-3) will take on Brownstown Central (9-2) this Friday in the Sectional 31 final.
