Last updated on Monday, October 8, 2007

(UNDATED) - The Indiana Hoosiers topped the Minnesota Golden Gophers 40-20 Saturday.

Hoosier running back Bryan Payton had a career afternoon, rushing for 90 yards and three touchdowns on just 13 carries.

With the win, head coach Billy Lynch is now 5-1 in his first year as head coach; the best six-game start by a Hoosier coach in school history.
