(BALL STATE) - Central Michigan defeated Ball State by a score 58-38.
The 96 combined points, and the 1,027 combined offensive yards are new records for Scheumann Stadium.
Cardinal return-man Donte Love also had a strong showing, despite the loss. Love posted a school record with 266 total return yards.
Nate Davis struggled for the first time since the opener, throwing for 204 yards and a score in a losing effort.
