The Hype Of The Unbeatens Begins

Last updated on Tuesday, October 30, 2007

(INDIANAPOLIS, IN) - The hype has begun. Indianapolis Colts Head Coach Tony Dungy spent his weekly news conference talking to a massive contingent of national media as the Colts get ready to face the New England Patriots Sunday at the RCA Dome.

The Colts are 7-and-0 while New England is 8-and-0. It represents the latest in an NFL season that two unbeatens play each other. It is also a rematch of last January's AFC Championship game, won by the Colts 38-34 at the Dome.

One of the sidelights of Sunday's Colts - Patriots game is the battle of the two best quarterbacks in the NFL, Indianapolis' Peyton Manning and New England'S Tom Brady.

Brady has been energized by the addition of wide receivers Randy Moss, Donte' Stallworth and Wes Welker and has already surpassed his career high by throwing 30 touchdown passes this season. He is on a pace to smash Manning's NFL record of 49 TD passes in one season.

Brady dominated the matchup early, winning his first six games against Manning and the Colts. Indianapolis has controlled the series of late with Manning and the horseshoes winning three-straight over the Pats.
