Last updated on Wednesday, August 15, 2007

(TERRE HAUTE, IN) - Indianapolis Colts Head Coach Tony Dungy has made many achievements in the last few months.

First, it was a Super Bowl ring. Then, it was his best-selling book and now it's a presidential appointment.

President Bush yesterday announced that the Colts coach would join the President's Council on Service And Civic Participation.

Dungy told reporters at training camp yesterday that he was first asked about taking the position when the Colts visited the white house in April. The position has a two year term.
