(UNDATED) - The Indiana college football scene got an unexpected media boost Tuesday.

DiNardo coached the Hoosiers from 2002-to-2004 and then began work for ESPN before the move to the Big Ten Network.

A formal announcement will be made this afternoon to announce DiNardo's addition to the studio team which also consists of host Dave Revsine and analyst Howard Griffin.

The Big Ten Network is set to launch on August 30th and is still in carriage negotiations with a major cable operator. The network will be available on DirecTV.
