(UNDATED) - In college basketball, Purdue jumped on Ohio State early and held off the Buckeyes for a 64-52 win and the championship of the Big Ten Women's Tournament in Indianapolis.

The Boilermakers scored the first 21 points of the game, holding the top-seeded Buckeyes scoreless until three-time conference player of the year Jessica Davenport hit a pair of free throws eight minutes and 18 seconds into the contest. Ohio State missed its first 13 shots from the field before Davenport sank a jumper with 9:33 left in the half.

Senior Katie Gearlds led Purdue with 25 points while junior Lindsay Wisdom-Hylton had a double-double with 21 points and 13 rebounds. The two combined for 17 of Purdue's first 23 points during the Boiler's early barrage. Davenport paced Ohio State with 22 points and eleven boards.

It is the sixth time that the Boilermakers have won the Big Ten Tournament as they get the conference's automatic berth in the NCAA tournament.

The IUPUI Jaguars' season came to an end as they fell to top-seed Oral Roberts 75-54 in the semifinals of the mid-continent conference men's tournament.

Three-time mid-con player of the year Caleb Green paced the Golden Eagles with 25 points with Shawn King adding 14 points and nine rebounds. David Barlow led the Jaguars with 17 points with Gary Patterson finishing with twelve and Austin Montgomery adding eleven.

IUPUI ends the season with a 15-and-15 record. The top two seeds face off in the Horizon League Championship game tonight in Dayton as the Butler Bulldogs face the Wright State Raiders. Both teams tied for the regular season conference title with the raiders gaining the top seed and home-court advantage due to a tie-breaker.

Butler advanced to the title game with an overtime win over Loyola on Saturday while Wright State had an easier time in eliminating Wisconsin-Green Bay in the semifinals.
