Bayh Files "C.J.'s Law", Requires Weather Radios In Mobile Homes

(UNDATED) - Indiana Senator Evan Bayh is introducing a bill that would require mobile homes to come equipped with weather radios to alert families of dangerous weather.
Bayh filed "C.J.'s Law" Monday, saying the federal legislation could save lives by warning people about tornadoes and other potential disasters.
The measure is named for two-year-old C.J. Martin--who was one of 25 killed by a tornado in Southwest Indiana in 2005. His mother--Kathryn Martin--backs the bill as a way to give families enough time to react to severe weather.
Bayh's legislation comes as Indiana observes Severe Weather Awareness Week.
