Hillary Clinton Files For May Primary
(INDIANAPOLIS) - Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton has filed necessary petitions to be on Indiana’s May 6 primary ballot.
Clinton supporters led by Purdue student Amanda Morris turned in a box of signatures to the Secretary of State's office Wednesday. The petitions included at least 500 signatures from each of the state's nine congressional districts -- the necessary number to get on the ballot.
About 20 supporters, including several Democratic lawmakers, cheered and clapped as the signatures were collected.
