Hill Files Papers For Reelection Bid

(INDIANAPOLIS) - Ninth District Congressman Baron Hill has filed the paperwork for his reelection bid.
The four-term Democrat is the last of Indiana's eight house incumbents to file, and one of three so far to face a primary challenge. John Bottorff, Gretchen Clearwater and Lendall Terry have all filed to take on Hill in the Democratic primary.
Clearwater and Terry ran against Hill two years ago, when Hill was out of office and trying to make a comeback.
They combined for 18% of the vote against hill's 79%. So far, former Congressman Mike Sodrel is unopposed in the Republican primary.
Hill and Sodrel have traded the seat back and forth since 2002.
