Bayh Pushes Manufacturing Extension Partnership Funding

(WASHINGTON, D.C.) - Indiana Senator Evan Bayh has written a letter to senate budget committee leaders asking for the inclusion of $122-million dollars for the manufacturing extension partnership in the fiscal year 2009 budget resolution.
The program provides technical assistance to small and medium-sized manufacturers.
Indiana's MEP is the Purdue University technical assistance program.
