(INDIANAPOLIS) - Bills on hair removal, toilet access and Halloween are on the agenda of the Indiana General Assembly.
Though the Indiana General Assembly is dealing with weighty property tax issues, lawmakers still hope some more obscure bills have a chance this session.
One house proposal would regulate threading, a process of wrapping a thread around unwanted hair and plucking it out.
A "toilet facility access" bill would require some retail establishments to make employee bathrooms available to the public if there are no other restrooms nearby.
Another bill that would make it a felony for some convicted sex offenders to hand out candy to trick-or-treaters during Halloween.
And a bill would allow inmates sentenced to at least 200 years or life in prison without parole to ask for and receive the death penalty.
