(STATEHOUSE) - A bill that would allow taxpayers to claim two deductions on their 2008 state income taxes has passed the Indiana Senate Appropriations Committee.
The legislation was proposed to make sure state income tax deductions would not be lost because of property tax billing delays.
Individuals living in counties that are sending out late property tax bills would be eligible to claim the two deductions.
