Marion County Prepares For Special March Election
(INDIANAPOLIS) - The Marion County clerk’s office is preparing for the March special congressional election.
Clerk Beth White says voters will see no difference from any other election. Voters will still go to the polls and use the optical scan machine to choose between Andre Carson, Jon Elrod and Sean Shepard.
White says the cost of the special election is estimated to be over $600,000 dollars, which is over $300,000 dollars less than last November's election.
By law the tab is being picked up by Marion County.
